This command allows modification of how various ChanServ commands will work in your channel, namely by restricting or controlling who can or cannot issue them. This command is restricted to channel founders only. This cannot be used to unrestrict this command or the set founder commands to anyone except for the registered founder of a channel.

This command has 4 sub commands which can be used. They will be described in further detail below.

Dis

This disables an automatic feature from any use by anyone in the channel. Even the founder is prevented from using the disabled feature to prevent any sort of accidental use, however the founder can re-enable the feature at any time. To use this to disable the halfop command on #channel for instance, you can use this command:

/msg ChanServ levels #channel dis halfop

Note that this is not the same as disabling half operators entirely. This is not currently possible with services, the best you can do is simply not use half operators in your channel. To re-enable the command, use the set sub command described below to assign a minimum access level for use of the command.

List

Lists the currently used access levels for your channel. This command takes 0 arguments. To list all the access levels for #channel, you would use the following command:

/msg ChanServ levels #channel list

Set

This command changes the access level required for a specific ChanServ command to be used in the channel. For example, by default, to use the halfop command, a user must have an access level of 5 or higher on the channel, which corresponds to AOP, or automatic operator. To change this so that half operators can use this command on other users in #channel, you can run the following command:

/msg ChanServ levels #channel set halfop 4

Using this will automatically enable a command at the specified access level if it was previously disabled by the channel founder.

This completely resets a channel's access levels to the default values at the time of channel registration. The following lists the default values currently used on the network:
