IRC, which stands for Internet Relay Chat, is the medium around which this website is based. If you are reading this article right now, then you should be able to use IRC through one of several means. For your IRC channel, you will want to join #lobby to start, which is the official network chat channel. If you already have an IRC client installed, you can try clicking on the link to see if it will open and let you join the channel. All IRC channels start with the # sign so although it may look odd, this is not a typo and is in fact correct. You may start your own channel if you wish with this IRC command: /join #channel
You may wish to download an IRC client to use on the network right from your own computer. It is recommended you do this if you wish to participate on the network, because an IRC client on your own computer will usually be easier to use and will have more features than any web based client that you find on the internet. For a quicker start though, you can click here to generate a Kiwiirc client to use on our network.
