This command allows IRC operators to suspend NickServ accounts. A suspended account cannot be used for any purpose, although the information is retained with services. This command is only to be issued for terms of service violations either as an emergency measure or with consensus from the other network staff. This command takes 2 or 3 arguments, the nickname to be suspended, the length of the suspension, and the suspension reason. Of these, only the length of the suspension if optional. If left out, a default from configuration files is used.
To suspend the nickname nick1 permanently with the reason "Repeated terms of service violations", use the following command:
/msg NickServ suspend nick1 +0 Repeated terms of service violations
