This command is used to connect the local IRC server to a remote IRC server. This will usually be used by IRC operators to connect leaf servers to hub servers, but can be used for the reverse if the operator has an IPv6 connection and an o-line on the hub. This command takes 1 argument, the server you wish to connect to.
Because of the nature of this command, most IRC clients will need to use /quote connect or /raw connect to issue this command instead. Also, it cannot be used for connecting two remote servers to each other or for connecting a remote server to the local server. To do either of those things, use rconnect instead.
